Fix Not Registered On Network error on Samsung Galaxy Phones

Network errors or issues can occur from time to time, whether you are an Android user or not. In this troubleshooting post, we’ll provide the solutions to one of the common network problems in Samsung Galaxy Mobile phones.

fix #1: Check for signal strength

If your Galaxy Note10+ keeps displaying the Not Registered On Network error all of a sudden, the first thing to do is to check for weak or poor signal. If the signal bar indicator on the notification bar has less than three bars, you may have a signal issue. Try to go out and see if the situation improves. If you are inside a building, try moving to a more open area or outside the building. If you’re travelling, consider stopping for a minute in an area with strong signal and check if there’s any improvement.

#2: Restart device

Network problems are sometimes fixed by rebooting a device. If you haven’t tried this yet, consider restarting your Phone now.

#3: Reset network settings

Clearing network settings may work in this situation. Follow the steps below on how to reset network settings on your device.

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Tap General management.
  3. Tap Reset.
  4. Tap Reset network settings.
  5. Tap Reset settings to confirm.

#4: Update your APN Settings

o do that, under Wireless and Networks, click Mobile Network > Access Point Names > click Menu, left button from the home key > New > now enter the require APN settings for your carrier.

Ensure that your Samsung Galaxy S7 has the latest software. Below are steps to update your software:

• Connect your Android phone to the wireless network.
• Go to “Settings“.
• Scroll down the page and choose software update.
• Wait for the device to download the update. After that, install it.
• Once installation is completed, your phone will reboot.

  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the green Android logo displays, release all keys (‘Installing system update’ will show for about 30 – 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
  4. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight ‘wipe cache partition’.
  5. Press Power button to select.
  6. Press the Volume down key until ‘yes’ is highlighted and press the Power button.
  7. When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
