Activating Facebook Face Recognition on Samsung Galaxy Phone
Do you need help activating facebook face recognition on your samsung Galaxy phone? Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to activate Facebook Face Recognition.
Launch the Facebook app on your phone.
To do so, launch the Apps viewer or access the Home screen by swiping up from the bottom of the display.
The Facebook app icon should be lined up among other app shortcuts from the Apps viewer unless you moved it to a separate folder, widget or Home screen.
Tap the Menu icon on your Facebook main screen.
Just look for the three short horizontal lines on the top-leftmost corner of the screen.
Scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy.
A list of Settings and Privacy options will then be displayed.
Tap Settings to access your Facebook account settings.
On the next screen, you will see another set of items including Account settings, Security, Privacy and other relevant information.
Scroll down to the Privacy section then tap Face Recognition.
A new screen prompting you to review the face recognition setting will be displayed next.
Read and review the pop-up information then tap Continue.
On the next screen you will be asked if you want to turn on the face recognition setting.
Read the details on what happens when this setting is turned on or off.
After reading the information, tap the TURN ON button to confirm that you’d like to enable the feature.
The next screen that shows up will be a confirmation that Facebook recognition is already activated.
Read the confirmation message then tap the Close button.
To check and see if it works, log out from your Facebook account then quit the app. After a few seconds, re-launch the Facebook app and see if you can now log in to your Facebook account via Face Recognition.
